This is an overview of the main podcast/lounge space of the building. The podcast studio is central to the space with access to a kitchen/snack bar which can be used during or after a podcast. On the near side of the perspective, although not seen here, is a powder room for quick access to a bathroom for those who can't hold it in for those 3 hour beasts. The lounge set up in front of the studio is a place for podcast guests' accompaniments to chill out. It could also be used as a theatre at any other given time. The pool table and bar area is more for entertaining and hanging out with guests or friends.
- Kitchen & Bar -
On the far side of the kitchen there is a floor to ceiling wine rack offering plenty of selection. The colors behind it are from a cache of snacks which is accessible from a backdoor in the podcast studio. This makes it easy for Jamie to quickly grab some snacks for podcast guests. Beyond making hulk loads or searing meat in the kitchen there is also the bar below the kitchen with a nice assortment of drinks for anyone who is thirsty during a game of pool.
- Lounge -
This is a first look at how the rest of the rest of the space is connected to an open garage. A full picture of how the space would feel from the bar and pool table area. It has all the flexibility for food, drinks, play, podcasting and lounging.
- Open Garage -
The open garage is there to highlight and frame the cars as art and sculpture within the rest of the space. Their design and engineering is shared and celebrated instead of being locked away and hidden. This is how the GT3 and 65' Corvette would be honored.
- Podcast Studio -
The podcast studio is literally and figuratively central to all the elements of this space. The podcast studio has the flexibility of being open or closed to all the elements around itself. This will be more apparent in the next perspectives.
- Fight Companion Podcast -
The fight companion podcasts are probably the single most enhanced podcast experience within this concept. The theatre sized screen gives everyone the opportunity to get the best possible experience when watching the fights...at least on the occasions they do decide to watch it.
- JRE Podcast -
Closing those front curtains can offer a lot more privacy and intimacy during more serious or in depth podcasts. Access to a screen is still available in the form of a TV lift cabinet, built-in at the front of the desk.
- Onnit Gym -
This Onnit inspired gym has everything to bring the inner chimp out of the human meat body. Whether it's smashing a tire, warring with battle ropes, or pushing a weighted sled it's going to be a challenge. Need to practice against other chimps? Jiu jitsu or kickboxing, there is lots of space to roll or hit mitts with someone.
- Gym with Kettlebell Wall -
This side of the gym is all about a test against gravity, either you lift it or you don't. Whether you find yourself on a bench underneath free weights or staring into the eyes of zombie, legend or primal bells, you will be tested.
- Zen Hall -
There is a simplicity and monotony to this hallway which doesn't necessarily make it very exciting but that was by design. The importance of this space is to be used as a buffer to prepare your mind for the space you reach at the end of the hallway.
- Isolation Tank Space -
This is what lies at the end of the hallway. A ritualistic isolation tank space. The isolation tank experience is a very elevating one. It strips away our human senses and leaves us with nothing but our consciousness and thoughts to play with. Such an experience needs a supportive environment similar to what gothic architecture offers to cathedrals. This ritualistic space was designed to honor the experience and mentally prepare you for it. The waterfall is meant to bring tranquility and create a semi-transparent barrier between you and the beyond.
- Isolation Tank without Waterfall -
When you take the waterfall away the space retains the feeling of a being ritualistic but is now more grounded. The light wells on the sides were created for day sessions to allow some connection to the outdoors and nature. The black marble walls stack on to this effect by creating a deeper connection to the earth and ground.
Beyond all of this there is also a shower head at the end of the room to help you rinse off. The height and shower head is meant to give you another waterfall experience at the end of it all.
- Writing Pit -
This writing pit is directly behind the isolation tank space and is accessible from it. This space is meant as a quiet, serene and contemplative area for recording experiences and ideas through writing. The different seating options offer a wide range of ways to get most comfortable for this.
- Infinity Pool -
The infinity pool makes the most of the backdrop while also creating an opportunity for leisure or water resistive exercises.
- Archery Range -
The archery range was designed to simulate a more realistic landscape for what to expect in a real hunting scenario. Multiple standard and animal targets offer plenty of variation. The concrete tiered barrier also manages different distances for which to practice from.
- Outdoor Area -
On the left is a fire pit area for get togethers and hangouts after the sun goes down. A great place to do some stargazing. As your hunting collection grows, the wall above the firewood storage is meant as an opportunity for you to hang up antlers. On the right, the bow and arrow storage/display is encased in a stainless steel storage system for hunting gear. All of this is tucked away nicely underneath an epic white porcelain sculpture of a bear wrestling a stag bursting out of a green wall.
- Floor Plan -
The floor plan will help orientate you between these spaces and how they connect to each other.
